T 6 Cabriolet Hand Throttle Question

According to multiple Porsche documents hand throttles were discontinued on T 6 coupes and cabriolets in 1962. All T 6 Roadsters and Karmann Hardtops have them. The last Karmann and Reutter coupes were 211430 (8/22/62) and 121500 (8/24/62). The cabriolet 157200 (5/9/62) is three months earlier and that really doesn't make sense. Anybody out there have a later cabriolet with one -- or other cars that disagree with the Porsche supplied numbers. Wouldn't be the first time that things were not exactly as reported.
