Now I want to know about really early T 6 rear grilles...

#1 Post by Brett Johnson »

I want to know the first use of aluminum rear grilles that were bright anodized and had vertical ribs bolted in place, with cylindrical cross-pieces rather than the earlier press fit variety, which were not anodized. Build dates are more useful than chassis numbers, but both will help. Thanks!

89809 vin, build date 9.2.62, has the threaded rods going through the round cylindrical spacers. Not anodized

Jim, 128269 was the wrong Vin, should have been 126269, that one was like the 62 above.
