Mystery Zenith 32
Found this lone Zenith 32 at an estate sale. How can I verify if it's Porsche related?

Re: Mystery Zenith 32
PO10 versions were used on industrial motors or for VW hop-up applications. Designed to be a single carb, centrally mounted, as they have a balance passage in the base. I believe these do not work well if they are used in place of a 356 version unless the base portion is replaced or modified to eliminate the balance passage. Most of the small parts are useable as parts for 356 versions, although jetting may be different.

Alan - thanks for the reply. After another look at the Zenith the ballance passage is apparent.

I recently gave away one of these carbs. It came with a VW speed manifold where the carb was mounted in the center. The other dead give away is the push on hose barb fitting. The guy I gave it to used it for donor parts to fix his 356

I see the throttle arm is set up to take a VW throttle cable, too.
