Door pull washers

#1 Post by Brad Ripley »

Up thru T-5 you have a door pull on the upper inside of the door. Two stud pieces hold that in place. Under the stud is a finish washer -- see photo below -- anyone have an idea of a good domestically-sourced washer that will look correct?

I know what you mean, Brad. The door pulls continued through the '63 B which I have.
I looked for the washers for a friend of mine. They resemble the trim washers used on the engine compartment sound deadening as the back of them is somewhat solid so they don't cut into the upholstery as a trim washer would.

I found black ones from Belmetric if I remember correctly. They might have chrome.
The original washers look to be aluminum so they can conform to the hinge post on the pull handle.

Check on Belmetric's web site, "metric washers", "escutcheon washers" to see if they would work.
