89714 has the script but no idea if it was there when it left the factory.

the location of the script was also moved somewhere in the T5 roadster production. It moved further down on the dash.

No pattern that I remember, it's was do 10-15 skip 2 do 10 skip 7-8. More random, but the emblem skips were always more than one. There were some big consecutive batches with the emblem. I did not study the Data base that closely.

It was back in the DOS only "286 IBM sewing machine portable computer" days on a 9" green screen, you could only see 5-6 lines at a time and a few columns at a once, and it took 2-3 seconds to scroll. At the time I was more interested in who and where they were.

Fascinating -- thanks!

Reality is more fun with nonsense mixed in!

I still have the sewing machine luggable computer. It has a $4000.00, 20mb hard drive option in it. I never could justify tossing it. It worked a few years ago, ran a scan disc perfectly in under 19 hours. Cute little green CRT and the keyboard is also the bottom closure of th case. Probably still have the 5-1/2" Disc also but who knows where. Maybe someone else still as a copy of the D'leteren database on a newer computer. Jules Dielen has a list also, and some Kardex copies.

Brett, what old registry did you find that mentioned 89809? Here is a pic of that car as it sits today.
No holes for script as you stated.

Volume 23, #4 -- page 12. It belonged to Rue Prince in Norfolk, VA at that time and he would have contacted me by mail.

Thanks Brett, I bought the car from Rue's family. He passed away a few years before.
he had wanted me to install the wiring harness in the car but we never got it done.
Appreciate all you do,

I can confirm what is written about 89650 in the old registry, I bought the car about one year ago. Currently it's under restoration. Here is a pic from the "cut off" dashboard - it had al lot of additional gauges and a radio. What you can't see on this pic - it has a hand throttle.
Greetings from Germany
