Mirror Access Hole T 1 356A

In May or June of 1957 (T 1) the mirror access hole was added to the left door, so that an exterior mirror could be easily mounted on the door. Can anyone supply chassis numbers/build dates of coupes/cabriolets/Speedsters to help further narrow the date range?
The accompanying somewhat fuzzy photo shows the hole without the silver-colored plastic plug.

My 1957 356A T1 Speedster 82954, delivered Feb. 4, '57 does NOT have the mirror access hole on either door.

My 1956 T 1 356A Speedster, Vin. # 82195 does not have the hole.

Cab 61596 March of 1957 does not have them
Speedster 82871 December 1956 does not have them.

On the other side of Jim's March of 57 cab (61596) is 61864 an August 23 of 57 cab with a hole.

My '57 T1 coupe, 101465, does not have mirror access holes.
Completion date is 8-19-57.
