I just drove the first km after a full restoration and love it!
All the work (and pain) has paid off.
Because of my height (1,98) I would like to improve the seating position by replacing the standard seats by speedster seats.
Different vendors off these metal buckets which have to be reupholstered.
- original the buckets were made from metal or aluminium
- how can the be attached to the BT 6/C rails? Adaptors are needed
- how to adjust the seating position when using bucket seats?
I attached several pictures, how can be determined if a seat is a copy of the original?
Although both claim to be copies of the original bucket seats I can spot multiple differences.
Thanks

Well, one difference is that the white seat has tangs (triangular punchouts) around the circumference. Also tangs on the seating surface. So do original seats.
