Length of standard threaded hub wheel studs for C disc brake

#1 Post by Steve Raucher »

I'm running longer rear hub wheel studs on my Speedster with C disc brakes utilizing the big doughnut spacers with a couple of washers. Steel wheels with flat hubcaps. Want to switch back to standard length threaded studs. What is the correct MM length to do this on the rear no interference with hub cap placement?
Anyone have a good used pair to sale me?
Thank you,
Steve

Sorry Steve, timing is everything - I just completed a four wheel tire rotation yesterday, and this would have been an easy answer. (My '63 has a 4 wheel disk brake conversion)

Hello,
Can I get confirmation that 40MM threaded wheel studs are needed as standard size for 356 and early 911 disc brake rear?
Stoddard part # 901 341 671 01.
Thank you,
Steve

Can anyone confirm if 45mm stud will still allow flat hubcap to clear it and properly sit on disc steel wheel?
Thank you,
Steve
