Wasn't there a listing of hand painted parts -- like striker plate screws and lid bolts/nuts -- printed at some point? can anyone direct me?

This is what I copied from the Registry years ago. Sorry I don't have the web address.

Here is my list of brush painted hardware and components.

Porsche 356A T1& T2 Components Brush Painted

Body Color

Hinge pins and cotter pins on door hinges
Hood and engine lid bolts and nuts located where lids and hinges attach 
Bumper deco hardware located inside bumpers
Bolts located on the upper latches - hood and engine lid 
Studs on hood handle located underside of the hood
Striker screws located on the door jambs

Black (semi gloss)

Spare tire loop and screws
Bumper bracket bolts and washers located where brackets attach to body
Bumper bracket bolts and washers located where brackets attach to bumpers 
Gas tank strap bolts and washers located on gas tank
Cheese head screws on steering inspection cover
Spring plate covers bolts and washers located where plates attach to the body
Seat hinge hardware located at front of seat frames (Speedster only)
Horn cover perimeter screws
Hood and engine lid pull cable clamps
Seat stand bolts and washers located on studs mounted to floor pan
Door latch screws located on latches attached to door post
Nuts and washers which secure emergency brake tube, in front compartment
Battery ground screw on battery floor


Yellow (Inspectors marking)

Fuse block set screws
Horn wire connectors located on horns
Positive battery terminal
Steering shaft near the steering coupler and coupler locking collars on the bolts
Front spindle caps

Red

Filler cap located on side of transmission

And…Dennis O'Donnell's answer to Tom:

Tom,
Add: support struts between top of toeboard and bottom of dash/ black
jack supports in trunk/ black, appear handpainted
rear seat hinges/ harmonize with rear seat carpet color (tan paint/ oatmeal carpet etc)
dashtop @ windshield/ harmonize with upholstery color (brown/ tan, maroon/ red etc)

Outstanding -- knew I'd seen it. Striker plate screws were black, not body color, but otherwise marvelous!!!
