Coach Builder Badge

Confirming coach builder badge facts, missing on my 63 B coupe and am replacing:
Location-a single badge, right side centered between rear of front right wheel arch and adjacent door gap?
How far up in inches?
Who makes/sells the best badge reproduction? Guess I could look for an original badge, seems hard!! Nice one's on Stoddards site.
Rivets color-I've seen gold(ish) and aluminum?
Any installation tib bids, I want to measure twice, cut once!

Just brought home my first 356 in 15 years, drove it up from Costa Mesa to Spokane, 1680 miles, time to do some fine tuning!

Thanks for any advice. B

I believe the location might vary a bit depending upon the type of badge: Reutter or Karmann. Are there any Bodo worms or any other evidence of the previous holes filled in?

I'll check for prior drill marks. Bondo worms nice! Reutter is the coach builder...thank you! Brian

1963 was the last year for the badges. Don't know exactly when they disappeared. If yours is a late 63, it might not have had one.
