Hello,

Can someone tell me if this badge on my 1959 356A is authentic?

The font size that goes around the border seems too small.

Thank you,

Ben

I'm searching high and low for proper position of Reutter badge, I look through books by Kellogg, Johnson, and Roland... no luck on exact spacing, just general information. I came across this template
badgep.png
and i was wondering if someone could confirm that it is correct. It came from a replica-speedster forum... please don't tell me they have more information about authentic cars then we do!!))

I also found some spacing info from and older post: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2147
The location of the Reutter coachbuilder badge on a 356A coupe, built 11/20/58, is as follows:

The bottom center of the badge is 5 3/4" from the edge of the rocker.

The center right edge of the badge is 2 3/4" inches from the rear edge of the fender.

Thank you,
Ben

PS if anyone has an original badge they would like to sell me please let me know.
