Blond handle screwdrivers

#1 Post by Charles H Jacobus »

Does anyone know if the original tool kit for a 65C carried blonde or red handled screw drivers?

The 1964/65 tool kit had the Klein red handle screwdrivers. Blonde were 1963 in the so called cheap kit. Tom

Amazing, I have a red one that I thought came from my '63.

Thanks, Tom.

Do you have the rare JÖRG-Nr.1660/1, CHROM-VANADIUM RED handle duck bill screwdriver and a red handle long Phillips head screwdriver set?

They were in the 1962 356 toolkits. Some early 63 also had them in the string tool kits. 1963 was a tool kit transitional year.
1963 356 T-6 Coupe Signal Red.
1973.5 911 T Coupe Ivory.
1989 911 Carrera Targa Grd Prix White.

Take a look at Eric C. 356a.com tool page, great pictures and explanation of all 356 kits There is a topic that shows several 63 original kits on this page. I just added my repo home made blond screwdrivers in my 63 kit to it. KTF 63 super 90 Daryl

I have a red duck bill screwdriver that looks like the one in the picture below your post but it doesn't have JORG markings on it, should it? I think it came with my '60 S90 but it could have come with the '63 normal.

I misspoke, mine is not a duck bill, it's the short stubby one.
