Tool Kit for 1963B T6 Coupe

Could 63 T6 owners send me photos of their tool kit or put photos on this post? My 63 didn’t have one when I purchased it several years ago. I really need to know what it would have looked like.

Conrad: Google "356 Tool kits" and go to Eric's web site. He has detailed pics and descriptions of the 356 tool kits.
The '63 was "unique" (and I'm being kind). The cheesiest kit Porsche put together. No tire pressure gauge, blonde-handled phillips and slotted screwdrivers and hub cap puller, 4 common German wrenches, blackened spark plug wrench, tommy bar, lug wrench and generator wrench and a drawstring tool bag. It also included one lug nut and a fan belt.
That said, a difficult kit to find as I found out.

Pic of original toolkit. Notice the socket on lug wrench is not same as 356C. The small plated socket is for top removal. Toolkit has been cleaned,not restored. Tom356c

Check Craigslist San Francisco. A 63 356 tool kit -- it is the correct 63 kit -- has been for sale off and on for over a year. The kit is missing the blond slotted screw driver but otherwise complete including the correct bag. I saw the ad a couple of week back. Now the ad is gone. But keep checking. I doubt it has been sold. And the seller keeps posting the ad. As I recall, the seller is asking $1,600 or $1,650 for what he has. I hope you have good luck finding it.

Here's another of the '63 pushrod kit with the tools out of the pockets. Note the pliers are unique to the '63 kit because of the shape of the handle.

The wrenches marked Porsche are 1962 only. The 1963 are black DIN895.
