Hi all,

i bought several years ago in bad condition a luggage rack. I sandblasted and now i won't to find the exact/as close as possibly color to repaint it. My first idee was to paint it like silver wheel paint.
Is there someone ho know wat color i should use?

The Reutter racks were either body color or hammer-tone silver. Perhaps one of the vendors has that hammer-tone paint available in an aerosol can?

After I restored my Reutter, I matched the silver hammertone paint using Rust-Oleum brand 7213 Silver "Hammered" in a rattle can. Be brave and spray it "wet" and it will return a nice hammered finish for you.

Will Hesch in the Registry had the correct pads remade and I bought a set. Very nice touch. Recommended. If you cannot find his contact info in the Registry, P.M. me and I will send it to you.

Be careful on belt widths. Those loops require a more narrow belt than what some folks offer. I think that the Stoddard belts fit, have not tried Sierra Madre.

Stoddard/NLA and sierra not have the hammered silver but know the brand Rust-Oleum, se if i can order this in a local shop here.

For the belts, i first take the hole measurements before i order them.
