Correct License Plate Lights

#1 Post by Dave Whittick » Sat Nov 11, 2017 6:14 pm

My 64 came with the plain lights shown below on the left. I assume that they should have manufacturing stampings on them like Hella or SWF. I found a pair of Hellas in a box of parts from a 62. I wanted to make sure that I'm looking at oe versus aftermarket as opposed to a 356B versus a 356C thing.

Hoping that somebody could confirm that the Hellas are correct for my car.

The plain bezel on the left is correct. The Hella logo is on the lens.

The bezel on the right is not a 356 part. The logo would be upside-down, if installed on a 356.
