I'm trying to figure out the correct oil breather set up for a 1500cc split case engine in a 1954 Speedster. The one that I have looks like a 36hp VW type but I can't see how it is held in place. I know the Super had a larger breather that had a spring holding it, but I can't find anything regarding the 1500 Normal.
Any help, photos, etc will be very much appreciated.

Same crankcase breather set up used on 25 HP Volkswagen engines.
The hold down leaf spring assembly is attached via the generator strap clamp bolt - - -
