HI all, I was cleaning out some spider boxes and found this fan. I believe its a four cam fan. I have no use for it but would like to know what it is for sure if I offer it for sale. Its either that or use it for a beer bottle coaster. Doesn't seem to be some homemade job as I did a run out check on it and its smooth even reading all the way around. Only one mounting center and no evidence of cutting or hacking for a homemade. Any ideas?
Thanks, George

Re: 4 Cam Fan?
Hi George
it is not a production 4-Cam fan they are fabricated aluminum and have the hub integral to assembly so it goes on the shaft. If you installed it in the 4cam housing you would have to turn it backwards.

Re: 4 Cam Fan?
Ok Jacques. Thanks. I did not want to misrepresent something to anyone; but a four cam guy would, like you, know right away.
So it's a lamp bottom or beer bottle holder then. Wonder why in the world someone would make this up? I suppose you could run it on a regular shroud if you hacked it up. Must be some very early hot lick demon speed tweak for cooling....kind of like all the cases that were ruined with Badgers....or gear boxes swapped around to run a Corvair motor!
Thanks. G

Where did the diagram come from? It appears to show the fan in question.
