PCIB or PBIC

#1 Post by Chris Frank »

I have a 1956 Super 1600S Chassis number 56594.
When were 40 PCIB's used VS 40 PBIC's? I have both and cannot recall which ones came with the car.

Hi Chris,

40 PBIC = 1951-53
40 PICB = 1954-57

The PICB have the autostart feature. The 40 PICB used on the 1500S motors have a choke, whereas the the ones installed on the 1600S motors have that choke attachment point blanked off with a plate.
