Hi Guys,
I have a WTB ad going now as I noticed a vertical crack on passenger glass headlight today. Speedster '58 model 150 from end of production. Has had the H4 bulbs forever. Am I beating a dead horse trying to find exact glass replacement? What left the factory?
Please see pictures and advise and thank you.
Steve

I don't think those are original lenses. I believe the originals had the lettering in a curved or "happy face" configuration. As far as I know, no one had reproduced that style. There are sources for the ones on your headlights. Just be sure the lettering is raised on the outside rather than inside the glass.

Steve,

The correct lenses for your car are the so-called happy face lenses, as noted by Mike Wilson. I have attached some photographs of that lens.

Thanks Mike and Peter for chiming in.
I think I found a replacement lens.
Cheers!

The SB19 SB20 SB21 markings are correct for later cars--the NOS lenses on my early 911 have them.

Lenses with SB19 SB20 SB21 markings are available from the usual suspects. Sierra Madre Collection has the best price at $61.50: Sealed Beam Headlight Lens, All 356s/911/912 (50-67) 644.631.111.31.

There are the ones with the markings on the inside and the ones with the markings on the (correct) outside.
