356 quarter window hinge exposure

#1 Post by Donald Pirch »

The chrome hex acorn nuts and chrome hinge mounted on the interior side of the side quarter windows are like impossible to cover up with the rubber piece. Is the hinge and acorn nuts supposed to be exposed? Or do I need to carve the rubber piece to hide them? Dumb question maybe after I've looked at so many of them. Will someone please send my an answer with a photo of the installation? Thanks as always & KTF.

The nuts are exposed, Donald. The only cut in the rubber is to slide the hinge through.
