356 C Coupe Windshield questions

#1 Post by Guido Kwikkers »

For my 356 C Coupe (USA) restoration I want to place a new windshield. The rear windscreen, side windows as well as both quarter windows are clear. The side windows and rear window have the Sekurit logo.

In terms of orginality were windshield from Sekurit used?
And if how should the logo (and other data) look like?

Or were other brands like Sigla used?
Moreover was this considering that the other windows are clear as well clear/ tinted / tinted with green strip?

Thanking you in advance.

Please see this link. As far as I know the only current C windshield available is Sigla. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=28524&hilit=Sekurit You can get a Sigla with original Logo from Porsche or Stoddard I believe. Or from Pilkington which has a newer Sigla logo. The only rear windshield I have found is Sigla although the originals were Sekurit. Signal brand is now owned by Pilkington I am pretty sure.
