If it helps with light configuration etc. here are some shots of 56815 during and after a recent bare metal respray. The car was delivered 27th August 1957 according to the blue Hoffman delivery sheet and the invoice from Imported Motors in Toledo. It had one owner from new who brought the car with him to the UK in 1971 and kept all the records from '56 to 2005. Nothing there to suggest any revisions and it doesn't show signs of any bumps to me, so I would guess the placements are accurate. However, I am in no way an expert! Just hoping the shots are helpful. The interior, by the way, looks like it has never been touched; so if I can help settle any originality debates there, please let me know!
All the best to a great community,
john
