Matching rims seemed to be common on Aquamarine metallic cars. I've seen an early '57 painted this way too.

My 1956 Sunroof Super coupe was Aquamarine Blue Metallic originally -
It had been repainted a lighter metallic blue when I got it but I found traces of the original color behind the door panels and a few other places.
It had a grey interior that had been dyed black.
There as a 56 Coupe at the Chattanooga show about ten years ago that was as close a match as I've ever seen. It was beautiful and didn't look the same from different angles.
