Need a survey of the screws & washers for the two lengths of heater slides.
1 Please take a look at a known original T-6 car with the short (217 mm) long slide. What type of screw is holding the corner? What washer, if any?
2 -- same for a 356C car with the longer (284 mm) slides. I think the screws/washers are different from the earlier.
Any help and/or photos appreciated.

Re: Heater slide screws/washers
The Heater Slides have been removed from my SC and so I too would really appreciate some help in knowing what's correct for these.
Hopefully the screws and washers may be in one of the boxes of bits, [ sure they might ] .
If anyone with original can post a photo it would be a huge help. Thanks a lot, jim

Not too many replies there Brad and Jim - Easter!
Mine are like these (BT-6). Not sure if those small (seemingly) fibre washers should be there.

Re: Heater slide screws/washers
Thanks Merv for your photos and messages. Starting with the B model Parts Book, the screw listed is Part 900.143.003.02 and described as Self Tapping oval screw chrome plated. B3,5 x 16. Din 7981. I imagine this same part number applies until end of production, as there is no change in either of the later Parts Books. But maybe the later Heater Slide used different fasteners ?
I would guess it is a Phillips Head screw, but could well be wrong. My car is a 1965 C and I don't have the screws. If there is someone with a known original, and if possible a late model kind enough to post a photo I'd be most grateful. Thanks as always, jim
