Here are photos from Ron's car a T-1 European, pre 100000 numbered. You can see the bolt stop and the bracket on the seat that sits on it, I would think that the bolt stop would have a rubber buffer on it to prevent metal on metal. Thanks Ron for the photos!

And there looks to be the rubber buffer. Great job guys in answering this question.
It is interesting that they discontinued this in the 100000 series cars like my T1 101611.
Or are there any 100000 series cars that have this? mine was nearer the end of the T1 run.

Ron, could you send me a photo of the seat bracket from the top side to see how it attaches to the seat.
