Did that car have non-matching # engine and 5.5" chrome wheels on it? I had no proof the seats were factory, that is just what I figured.

Hi Martin,
That car was a '63 Super 90 that went directly to the engineering department to be a "test model" as shown on the COA. It has many C features like disc brakes, park brake warning light, heat control, hood latch, rear defrost, dome lights, and arm rests. Those are just the ones that come to mind. The most "prototype" part of the car are the front calipers which I have never seen anywhere else. Look at the picture carefully.

Denis found the car and could say exactly where. Bill Kemper at Panelwerks did the extensive metal work and paint so he may have some insight. I had to sort a number of mechanical problems but after that we really enjoyed that car. I think we put maybe 20k miles on it going to Holidays on both coasts.

It seems Pepita inserts was an option in 1963 or possibly special order?

Always helpful to see the Kardex. There have been many problems with the accuracy of CoA's.
