Doesn't need to be original, just looking for the plate that I can wrap the leather around, include the dowels and mount the script. All I have to start with is the radio trim obtained from Stoddard. Suggestions? Thanks!

I bought a #1 for my '53 to use with a radio delete dummy gauge. You'll need a #3 for your '55 and may have to buy the dowels
(+/- 1/8" diameter) from Home Depot or a Hobby store. I don't recall if Repuestossam sells the mounting hardware or not, but I found the bolts & brackets on Samba for <$20.

I need that Porsche script for my car. Does anyone have one to sell? Or to make a replica from?

Richard, I can lend you the radio delete from my '53 coupe if you want to replicate it. E-mail me your address.

Daryl, I think he's looking for the small PORSCHE script for '55s.

Daryl thank you so much for your generous offer. Really.

Spencer is correct though; I am looking for that Porsche script which was on the 1955 pre A and carried over into early 1956 on the very early A’s.

I have one of the early A plates with the script glued to the front of it. I will need to make one for my current '56 project and will try making a mold and casting some of those scripts. Will probably do them in plastic and gold plate but could also do brass lost wax if the demand is there
