Thanks to the help I have managed to get this apart without damaging anything, one more piece of info my bulb is Black. I had to resort to dribbling oil between the base and body & then putting a knife edge against the edge of the base plate and gently tapping the knife handle & worked my way around.

time for a bump on washer pumps..

11816 is a 9/52 1500S USA deluxe with a washer system. regretfully everything but the squirters is MIA. Does anyone have a barrel type pump with an aluminum knob collecting dust on a shelf?

In 1960 the RS 60 Porsche Spyder had to have a full-width windshield for many races, so that's how the factory built them. Guess what, the factory hard-cover RS 60 Parts Book lists a windshield washer for the car! As I recall from seeing at least one on an RS 60, the washer pump is similar to the one used earlier on 356's. (FYI, the RS 60 was the only Spyder model with a factory parts book.)

Interesting Jim! Feel free to post a snap of that page from the parts book. I've never seen one of these.
