Eyebrows over gauges

#1 Post by John Wurner »

What years were individual "eyebrows" used over individual gauges?
1954 for sure, perhaps until the dash appeared covered?
Did 54 Speedsters have them?
Thanks, John

Certainly not on speedsters; they already had a big 'eyebrow' on the dash.

John,

Here is a Speedster picture from an early 55 Factory Sales Binder, likely a 54 Speedster.

Scroll down to the Speedster section.

John,
Large eyebrows (speedo and tach) were used on coupes and cabs from '52 through '55 (not sure about earlier) The small eyebrows (temp and fuel) were used on '54 and '55 coupes and cabs.
