Coco Mats

#1 Post by Joris Koning »

Hi,

My car came from the factory with coco mats. Does anybody out there have an original 50's/60's set they can share pictures off? How do the current mats differ from the originals? or are they a 100% reproduction?

Thanks,

Joris

you can talk to Jeff at www.cocomats.com
Not sure exactly how the originals fit, but his fit very well. Difference to new is the rubber backing that holds the dirt and also a heel pad, which can be eliminated. You can see them in the pictures of my car at the link below.

Are they a factory item listed on the Kardex, or were they dealer installed and listed on the invoice/bill of sale? I know that the Coco mats available in the 60s seemed to be superior to the ones I see now.

My Certificate of Authenticity also listed Coco mats as factory optional equipment. I would be curious to see originals as the ones in the car when I got it were the more recent type.
