Today I replaced the taillight rubber pieces. This is the first time I had removed the taillights on my A coupe, which I purchased in 2005. The access holes in the engine compartment were filled with hard rubber plugs, as shown in the photos below. I am wondering if they are the original plugs; they are very inflexible and partially tore when I removed them. I was able to get them back in but I don't know if they will stay in place.
Any idea if these are the original access hole plugs?
Thanks,
Barry

Barry e Vic,
I lost them in my cab. Do you know if some sellers has them as a repro?
