Rudge knock offs for 59A car

#1 Post by john schwamm »

I know these are really rare, but is there any source for a set or repros available that would fit an A car?
With the C of A stating central locking chrome wheels, ti would be great to have them.

There is a company in Germany offering reproductions - google "German Rudge Wheels" and it will come up. Not cheap though - ~ $13,000 for a set of 5.

I have seen those, but does it appear that they have a bigger offset in the wheel to compensate for the adaptor that bolts to the brake drum?
Has anyone used these to see if they look right and work well?

John,
Yes there is a source for what your looking for, drums too drums or disk too drums their very cool, here's an example which has disk brakes under there...very cool! By the way that's Duane Spencer's old Roadster.
