'53 Pre A hand brake front cable guide tube question.

#1 Post by Aaron Lennox »

I moved my post/question over from the "Main" forum as this seems a better place for it.

Any chance someone could post or email me a photo of what the tab that anchors the rear end of the guide tube for the single hand brake cable in front should look like? This is in the area just forward of where the single hand brake cable splits into 2 cables. Hope I explained that well enough. Thanks in advance.

After much searching I found this image in a build thread (Thank you to the OP). Does anyone have another picture of the rear "wall" through which the hand brake cable tube passes? Maybe from the inside of the car looking forward? Or, through the beam tubes looking to the rear? Thanks, I would love to close this area up this weekend but want to get this panel as close to "correct as possible.
