Radio identificatio help needed

#1 Post by John Wurner »

This Blaupunkt Radio Frankfurt has four bands, and the label on the side is worn.
Can this be used in the US or is it Europe only?
Thanks, John

Your Blaupunkt is a "W" series Frankfurt, AM/FM/Short wave/Long wave made in late 1965/early 1966. It should fit in a 356 without modification. The bands are Euro bands with the FM band Frequency 87-104 MHz slightly different than the US band 87-108. This radio is not normally considered a 356 radio, but more a 911/912 radio. It should work just fine in the US. See the following website for more details.
