Derrington?

#1 Post by Bruce Wood »

Can anyone tell me whether this is a real Derrington or not? It was my father's and it was given to him by a friend for his 356A in the late 50's or possibly early 60's. It is 15" across, and has very faint engine turning applied to the aluminum spokes. Thanks

Hi Bruce,

I'm not a wheel expert and can't answer your question, but there is a website Tech article showing photos of various wood wheels that might be helpful to you. Scroll down to near the bottom of this page and click a photo to see a larger image:

Barry, thanks. There is a 15" Derrington pictured there that is very similar to my wheel, so your tip was helpful.
