Mysterious Porsche emblem
Im putting the 54 Speedster back together and came across this Porsche emblem. I have no idea where it belongs on the car or if it is even supposed to be on the car. The emblem is only 3 1/8" long and 5/16" tall plated porsche emblem. If it doesn't belong on the car which model did it come off of ? Any help is appreciated.

Smagic,
That Porsche emblem goes where opening would be for a radio, should a radio be deleted.
Obviously the speedsters did not have a radio. HOpe this helps

On 356Talk we appreciate it when members show their name with their posts, it makes for a friendlier and more personal atmosphere. And it's a courtesy to those who take time out of their day to respond to your question.
You can have a "signature" (your name) automatically added to all 356Talk posts you make by editing your website "Profile".
Do do that, first be sure you are logged in at http://porsche356registry.org
Click the "Membership" link at the upper right of any page
Click "My Profile Page"
On your Profile page click "Edit", then click "Update Your Profile", then click the "356Talk Settings" tab,
In the "356Talk Signature" box, type in your name and anything else you want to show, such as the type of 356 you have for example.
When you are finished making changes, click the "Update" button at the bottom of the page.
This way your name will show automatically when you post, and other 356Talk members can easily see who they are communicating with and not have to click your "Profile" link to view your name.
