52 floor mat/running boards

#1 Post by Victor Ingram »

Did 52 have the "fine ribbed" rubber mats as well as the door sills?
If so can someone recommend where I can purchase them?
I tried International Mercantile but they do not have the very early mats

thx

All bent-window cars use the same floor mats and door sill rubber. It was introduced for the 1952 model year and used through the end of pre-A production, changed slightly for the 356A. Stoddard supplies.

Thank you Jaimes, so if I understand it correctly it would be the wide ribs?
AND was the front mat held into place on the kkckboards with snaps?
sorry for all the questions, my friend is going to the Parade with his 52
and wants to make sure everything is correct

thanks again
Victor

Yes, wide ribs, held onto the front wood boards via snaps. Stoddard sells them.
