Euroclassics is a respected Porsche dealer here in central Virginia. They sponsor a lot of activities for the Shenandoah and the First Settlers regions of the PCA.
Regarding the blue car--I see it is no longer on ebay. I saw it last summer--belonged to a local fellow who has had several nice cars--he buys them and eventually sells them. I think he told me that this car was from California and he went throught the car thoroughly after they got it here. I noted no badging on the right side (for 64-65 Reutter cars I there was none). My guess is they just put the Karmann badge on it when it was painted in California.
He knows cars and buy fine ones. His last 356 (a white one) is now in France.
The car itself was magnificent and the color scheme with the tan leather was stunning. I think you will like it. Good luck. Send me an email if you have any questions.

One more thing:
Might I suggest getting on a plane and flying into Dulles. It is a cheap flight.

Had the Lufteknic people do a PPI. Found doors stood proud, not even with body, right front fender had been replaced and not that great inside door hinge area, etc, so passe don the car. Had patch panels too.

Inexpensive lesson to be sure. Good luck on the continuing hunt.

Re: 1964 Karmann vs. Reutters body
I acquired this car last week after John passed... at a revised price and after some addition items addressed. Body work to improve door gaps, new generator/voltage regulator, new battery, and some carb work.
Drives and looks great. Hopefully you guys can help a newbie avoid making 'additional' expensive mistakes.
