Dash grab handle

#1 Post by Ken Daugherty »

I have a chrome dash grab handle (passenger assist) that I cannot identify
It has a 6m bolt at the top and two mount holes in the bottom, where it attaches to the lower part of the dashboard. See attached pictures.
Any ideas ???
Thanks,
Ken D

Ken,
Late 4-hole removable dash, like late '54 or '55. I have attached a picture of one installed.

Alan,
Thanks for the help identifying the handle. I have a early dash panel it will fit :D

I think the 'rarest' grab handle is the leather one as found on the Glaser cabs. At one time I had two of them, One went with the Glaser I sold to Dixon (# 12347) and the other to a friend with a Glaser and no leather handle. I think John Dixon now owns both cars.
