I made it back in my 356, after a long journey to North meet South 2008.
2235.6 miles roundtrip to my exit, (really) and at the end their was a rainbow at the exit too!
Had a great time, thanks to the King brothers and wives and met many old and new friends. It was a adventure.
Thanks all and I thought it was a great event.
I got my 356 to really perform.

NmS 2008 was a cool event. Wonderful people, great cars.
Here's a link to some photos I took there. (Use the "Slideshow" button at the top of the webpage to view the photos at your own pace.)

Chris, your car was amazing. I looked at it closely and photographed alot of the details, but the article in the new registry really discribes it. I can only imagine the challenges. It looks really cool. I did a pre-a sleeper once with full "C" running gear, and a 912 engine. I'm sorry I sold it!

I understand your regret in selling your pre A sleeper. Something about these little cars. . . .
Your current A car is looking good and there are few limits to this cool little sleeper!

Wow! Your link has over 100 photos and every car looks fantastic! Is it a secret requirement that cars must be in gorgeous condition to attend?
Makes me feel like I have a long way to go. Thanks for the great shots of the event Chris.

Anyone know who belongs to that hot outlaw at the bottom of the list of pictures?

Great article in the May/June Registry magazine on Chris Toy's über Coupe.
Reading his first-hand account of how the car came together is both inspiring and frustrating. What an ordeal…but the end result seems more than worth it.
Beautiful car, Chris. I hope to see it again at Dana Point in July. 8)

Re: Grey R62TUB Outlaw
The first one is owned by Bruce Ungari from Northern California. Not sure about the second one but it looks like the one last year the owner told me he has a spark plug in the exhaust to throw flames. I just love the American Racing wheels..........Mark Pribanic wrote:This one?Tom Manson wrote:Anyone know who belongs to that hot outlaw at the bottom of the list of pictures?
