Rubber floor mat in T6
When I tore out the old, cheap loop carpet I found the original rubber mat in the front area of my coupe, which is in quite good condition. I have already purchased AI's carpet kit which includes the additional carpet pieces for the same area. Is there any concern with using that rubber mat as additional sound deadener or is that a bad idea? Comments appreciated.

C coupe rubber floor mats
I just purchased new mats Int'l Mercantile. Great quality but they seem to need trimming around clutch pedal and gas pedal stop. Is this usual?
Rubber mats
I replaced my front mats about a year ago. Ordered through Klasse 356. They fit perfectly with no trimming. 62 b coupe. Jim Slawson
I'll throw all my mats away and replace them with carpeting. In fact, I expect to have two layers of carpeting on the front floors.
It'll be correct carpeting but that's about it.
In my opinion, there's no words to describe how ugly those rubber mats look.

Rubber floor mat in T6
Keep in mind Charles this is just a car and 49 years ago we appreciated the rubber mats due to the mud, snow and field scat that got in with our feet. Hell of a lot easier to clean than carpet.

Your dash, is that an illusion or do you have fabric in the area of the glove box?
Do you have a photo of the back seat area you could share?

Or, for koko mats, see the website http://www.nlaparts.com/store/product_i ... ts_id=2665 All are in stock, no waiting for them to be made, although a limited color selection.

Re: Coco v. Koko mats
If you click here http://www.cocomats.com/more-info.htm you can read the differences they outline. Basically, quality of material and workmanship. I've used their product for years in four cars and am very happy with them.Charlie White wrote:OK, John, what's the difference?
