Seam Sealer

#2 Post by Bob Cannon »

EverCoat makes a great product, which is brushable. It flattens out very well and is not visible under the undercoat. Comes in cans at your local auto paint dealer.

3M makes a great urethane product which comes in tubes and shrinks very little. You can apply it with an caulking gun and then brush it into the seams. Great product!. Tan in color. Paintable. Get it at your local auto paint dealer.

Wurth has a couple of excellent products if you have access to a Wurth dealer or supplier. One comes in tubes and another in a can (similar to the EverCoat product).

They all work very well when applied over clean metal (painted or not). I like and use all three flavors, but prefer the 3M Urethane product.
