Seat hinge parts
Brad,
"Look to be seat recliner parts. What version, anyone? [Question]
Regards,Brad"
Probably many folks are 'way more expert on seat mechanisms, but those don't ring *any* bells as regards 356 parts. Maybe Benz? They look heavy enough....
Thanks,
Ron LaDow

Ron,
Actually, the gears, washers and the bolt are steel but the plates are thin aluminum sheet metal.
Thank you,
Janos

Seat Hinge parts
Hi Guys,
From what I can tell, all of these parts are from early T-2 seat hinges, except the 4 large alum. plates that have 2 holes thru their upper sections. The other two alum. plates that have only one hole in their upper sections are from the early T-2 hinges.
Here's a couple of photos showing the difference.
As far, I've found the early T-2 hinges to be stamped with dates: approx. 10/57 thru 1/58 so far. The late T-2 hinges I've found have been stamped 10/58 thru 5/59.
Regards,
John
