you are absolut right..... i wrote a bit incomprehensible.......and mean more this Enginenuber start with : 95.....etc. are 692/3 and 1600 ccm. Yes, in 1959 they put in also 692/2...start with 93....etc. 1600ccm and 692/1...start with 92...etc. 1500ccm...called 1500 GS GT.....

As I wrote earlier I belive all members of this forum would be happy to assist in finding out history of car/remains You have in Your possession. It might be one of the Speedster Carreras still not accounted for.
I include picture showing 84944 just before it was bought to Sweden almost twenty years ago.

Mike, what do you mean you "bought a patiell car". I do not know what "patiell" means. I appreciate that perhaps English is not your primary language, so just do the best you can and we will do our best to understand.
Are you saying that you bought a 356 that was claimed to be a 1959 Speedster with chassis number 84944 but in fact it is a different chassis number, or not a 356A Speedster at all?
I'm sure that there are many 356Talk members who would be interested in seeing photos of your car. Can you post some?
