#1 Post by Peter Boettcher »

Hi All,

Just a reminder that the largest all Porsche swap meet in the world will be held in Hershey, PA on Saturday April 18th.
It`s an amazing event that you won`t want to miss. See the link below for more info and registration information.
The Cincinnati Nasty Boys will be in spots B-50 through B-54. Watch for the Jolly Roger flying overhead and hope to see you there!

How do you find your assigned spots if you've already registered? This year's instructions seemed to indicate that the info was only available on Friday when you show up to stage.

If you preregister you will receive your spot assignments and parking pass approximately 2 week before the event.
Note that March 18th is the deadline to preregister. We always also register for the upcoming year. This is done at the event and usually lasts until 1pm. This way you can get the same spots for the next year if you like where you are. We have had the same spots for many years.

I would like to thank all the people over the years that have worked to keep this event going and growing! I have been attending since the days of mechanicsburg and consider it a highlight of the Porsche year. A question though, why does on-line registration close a full month before the event? I know you can't wait till the last minute for preregistration but firming up vendors ahead of time with non-refundable commitment would seem to be a good thing. I was told once that it would be too confusing. Why is it better to have people trying to accomplish everything at the event with less than 24 hrs to go?
Thanks,
Jim
