1963 hub cap puller steel hook diameter

I make 356 wood handle screwdrivers for Registry members only, but Registry Tool Kit Standards by Eric Chernoff doesn't include the hub cap puller in the SD photos and descriptions of 1963 screwdrivers. Help please in finding this dimension for a 356 owner needing this item.

If you have the lug nut wrench you can slide the handle back which exposes the hubcap puller available on A models, I'm not sure what the B's use.

The '63 has a blonde-handled hook tool that fits in the holes of the hubcap. One year only tool and the kit is the cheapest one Porsche provided. There is currently one for sale in the Classifieds.

I took a metal clothes hanger, cut it down and formed it. Not elegant looking but very effective.

VW had a hub cap puller that fit into the pocket of the jack receiver.

Don, The examples I have copied to make my repo pullers are 145mm long, 4mm shaft and pointed offset is 25mm long. Photo shows the ' U' shaped wire thing, that's the common VW hub cap puller supplied in VW tool kits. Have seen wooden pullers all shapes and sizes. enjoy 63 super 90 sunny SoCal
