Been some time since I last sourced door seals. Who out there makes the most authentic door seals for a '56? We are getting to that stage that we will need the seals to ensure everything fits and shuts before paint.
TIA,
Joris

Good question. Important to note that most new door seals are far too hard to allow door closure without major modification. The original seals were constructed of very soft, pliable rubber which collapsed when the door was closed against them.
Before ordering any door seals, contact the seller to ensure you are going to receive workable seals, not the common place, inferior product often sold as replacements.

I did a 56 this spring and used IM. The door seals were excellent, not fat.

These ones made in Italy were being imported to the USA for a while. Not anymore, but I believe the quality is good. Don't know for sure about the door seals.
