History, 58 Speedster

Speedster with VIN 84137 was purchased by Frances Hefner, American High School, Augsburg, GY. on 5-6-58.
Sold in Santa Barbara, CA by CLK Limited to Robert Kirby, a well known race car driver in Southern California, in the late 70's. His Daughter inherited the car in 2006.
The family tells me that Robert Kirby drove the car for one year after which the car went in to storage until 2006.
As the current owner I am trying to fill the gap between 1958 and the late 70's.
As a side note, the original engine for the car came up for sale in 2011 and has been in my possession since that time.
I would appreciate any information.
