Tractor Rims?

#1 Post by Adam Wright »

Anyone seen these before, 5 X 16, dated 57. No spots for hubcap clips and they are real heavy. I'm thinking tractor, any ideas?

While my 1960 tractor did have 5.50X16 front tires, they were solid disc wheels. No reason for vented wheels since they don't have front brakes

Sorry Al, I've never met Ferry Porsche, though I did meet Wolfgang Porsche.

Adam: I used the word Schwimwagen and your picture is a Jungwagen. Pardon my spelling. I to have had an opportunity to meet many Porsche professionals (some actually worked for the company) these were wonderful experiences! al zim
