This topic crops up every few years so I guess its time again ...!
Looking to find to bearings - part #10 (644.347.125.01) in diagram below:
I know the latest approach is to machine the worm gear and box and replace with roller bearings (but that is the last $$$ spendy approach)
Anyone -Bueller ... Bueller anyone ?????
And maybe of interest - I have brand new ZF peg to offer in exchange in full or part

Re: ZF Steering box - bearings
Steve, call Martin Willis at "the machine shop" in Colorado. Google him, he should have the bearings.
If I had known I would live this long I would have pushed the envelope a little harder.

Re: ZF Steering box - bearings
The ball bearing assemblies have been out of production for many years. However, you can replace the balls by pushing them out of the cage and replacing them with new -- sizing is in inches as that part was originally a US Timken part.
If you want to replace with a roller assembly, then Martin Willis is your man. In fact, might as well, send him the whole box for rebuild.
